Welcome to Ronnie Cohen’s website!
Ronnie, a graduate of The Berklee College of Music, offers drum lessons, music theory, or songwriting at his studio, at your home, or online. No matter your age or preferred music style, Ronnie can help you reach your musical goals, whether you hope to start your own band or simply want to increase your focus and add enjoyment to your life. Ronnie frequently performs in the Los Angeles area, both on drums and as a vocalist, appearing at venues like The Industry Cafe & Jazz, local bars, and Farmer’s Markets around the city. He enjoys a wide range of music styles, including Rock, Latin, Brazilian, traditional Jazz, Alternative, World Music, and more. Additionally, he regularly performs at Soulful Sunset concerts at the Santa Monica Community Unitarian Church and with synagogue bands in the South Bay. With over 30 years of teaching experience, both privately and in Los Angeles public high schools such as Palisades Charter High School (2000-2022), Ronnie also teaches at Arts Alive, an after-school program for K-8 students.

Lesson Rates:
Ronnie offers reasonable prices for his lessons at $60 per hour or $40 for 30 minutes.​ In addition, there is an $25 charge if Ronnie travels to you (If the lesson is at home, there is a 60 minute minimum).

A first lesson of 50% off is available. Additional discounts are available if you book four or more lessons).
